An English teacher's blog about his travels and his digital art.

About MontanaRon

I’m an expat from Montana, USA, one of the most beautiful places in the world. I’m currently teaching English in Vientiane, Laos, and I have also taught in Benin, Morocco, the Dominican Republic and South Korea. When I’m not teaching, I thoroughly enjoy engaging in my hobby–Digital Photo Artistry. I love baseball, especially the New York Yankees, and have an enthusiast’s interest in astronomy, extreme weather, and photography, among other things. I’m well beyond retirement age, but I like to think that I have a youthful outlook on life. Continuing to work helps me keep that outlook. I hope this blog reflects that attitude.

Just sitting here in Vegas waiting to bowl team event at the open championship. Thought about you and posting a how do.

Glad to see you are still kicking dirt.

I’m retired, sort of. Drilling balls at littles. Life is good, health is good. Bowling is fair, for a 70 year old. I can almost hold my own against the youngsters.

If ya ever get to great falls, look me up. Maybe do some fishing.

Hey, Willie. Great to hear from you! Glad you’re hanging in there and doing well. I’m still “kicking dirt” over here in Vientiane, Laos, doing the English teaching gig. Don’t know when I’ll get back to G.F. but I’ll def look you up when I go there, maybe next year. Hope you do well in the tourney and enjoy Vegas, my favorite city and fun place to visit.
