A moderate typhoon, Megi, with winds of around 75 mph is supposed to come ashore on the southern Korea peninsula late this evening. It appears that it will be over Andong or near us early in the morning, about 3 am to 9am. While not a major, high-wind storm, the reports indicate that a LOT of rain is possible. One weather forecast that I watch, Weather Underground, predicts that we’ll get up to 6 inches of rain by tomorrow afternoon, a good amount and about half of Montana’s yearly precipitation. It’s already raining pretty hard at 3:30 pm. I’ll keep you posted. Also, more Thai vacation journal entries to come soon. If there are no major lightning storms, I’ll try to post some this evening. Otherwise, I’ll turn off and unplug the machine.
